Saborosa Games

We draw every frame by hand, then throw physics at it until it's funny. Small worlds, heavy rocks, angry fruit.

Our games

Two worlds so far. One of them can fly.

Painted Isle — a hand-drawn island stage from Saborosa In development The same island as flat color zones read by the engine
Left as drawn, inset as the engine reads it — every color is a rule.

Saborosa

Top-down action puzzler · PC · Solo & couch co-op planned

A 2D top-down game with isometric-style visuals, built around weight. Every rock has mass — you push it, lift it, stack it, or get shoved off a ledge by it. Terrain is a hand-painted image, and the colors are the physics: yellow slopes drag you left, gray sand slows you down, green means you can climb it.

  • Push / lift / stack physics with real mass
  • Color-coded painted terrain — ramps, dense sand, climbable walls
  • Roaming coconut enemies that notice you and shove back
  • Stages: Endless Desert · Sand Bank · Painted Isle · Bone Pit
Flying Dungeon — the orbiting fruit-tray dungeon Playable now

Flying Dungeon

Shoot-'em-up · Browser · itch.io

A jam game that got out of hand. Pilot a fruit plane around a dungeon that orbits — turn left or right and the whole room spins with you. Three pilots, one machine gun, no brakes. Built standalone, written so it folds back into Saborosa later.

  • Rotating dungeon that turns as you bank
  • Three pilots: lemon, tomato, eggplant
  • Hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation throughout
  • Runs in the browser — no install

The studio

Saborosa Games is a tiny independent studio. We make games the slow way: pen on paper, scanned, animated frame by frame, then dropped into an engine we wrote ourselves.

No asset packs, no pixel-art filter, no middleware. If it moves on screen, someone here drew it moving. That's the whole pitch — and it's why our games look like nothing else on the shelf.
